Evangelist Mark, nimbed, is seated on bench before desk over which hangs scroll. He writes with scroll with left hand, holding pointer or knife on scroll with right hand. Evangelist symbol (lion), nimbed and winged stands at right holding pencase and inkpot in mouth.
Margins decorated with border of foliate rinceaux.
