Christ: Entombment -- Body of Christ, nimbed, bleeding from wounds in head, side and feet, wearing short loincloth, reclines on cloth atop sarcophagus, His shoulders supported by Joseph of Arimathea, wearing hat. Virgin Mary, veiled, is next to the sarcophagus, extending left hand to left arm of Christ. Another man, wearing pointed hat, is next to her.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament including rose, viola, strawberry, white vine scroll, speedwell, and daisy, and inhabited by butterfly.
