Miniature:
Christ: Nativity -- Nude Christ Child, reclines amid rays on ground. At His head, Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, kneels on one knee looking up; next to Him, Virgin Mary, nimbed, with joined hands extended, kneels looking toward Him. Ox is behind her.
Scene below double arch supported by colonnette and column, in building with two windows, and with rays emananating from top of frame.
Margin, lower:
Midwife, veiled and wimpled, kneeling on ground warming cloth before fire in fireplace. Scene in landscape with tree.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
