Evangelist Mark, rayed nimbus, wearing hat, is seated at table, writing with quill in right hand, holding pointer (?) on page with left hand. Inkpot, pen (?), scissors, and possibly seal are on the table. Evangelist symbol (lion), nimbed and winged, stands on the table, mouth open, tongue extended toward left hand of Mark. Bookshelf is at left.
