Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Below two angels hovering, holding crown, Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneels with joined hands, before God, nimbed, wearing triple crowned papal tiara, raising right hand in blessing, and holding on His lap, cross-surmounted globe, seated on throne. In background, behind bench with cushion, are ranks of angels in red.
Miniature within arched frame supported by columns and architectural elements.
Margins decorated with floreate and foliate ornament, including large branches, and strawberry, and inhabited by hybrid animal, birds, one pecking snail, and fantastic animal.
