Legend, Tristan and Isolde: Palamedes rescuing Maiden -- Palamedes, wearing black and gold armor, leans over head of knight wearing black armor, seated on ground. With left hand Palamedes grasps head of the knight, and with right hand holds knife to his throat. Sword is on ground at right. Maiden, wearing hennin, stands in bushes near wall of building. Scene in landscape with buildings, one on mound with chimney.
