Scholar (?), wearing hat, raising right hand, holding floreate scepter with left hand resting on book, is seated on chair. Scroll by his right hand is inscribed UT CUM CORPUS CHRISTI EFFICITUR.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament and bunches of twigs, and inhabited by bird, angel, raising left hand, standing next to escutcheon with heraldry of Assendelft family (gules, a horse counter-rampant, surcharged with an estoile gules), and by man wearing tri-pointed hat, playing two recorders (?), crouching within curve of scroll inscribed 1143.
