Legend, Thebes: Combat between Polynices and Eteocles -- In battle scene with armored soldiers on horseback and foot soldiers, Polynices, wearing armor and on horseback, drives lance into Eteocles, crowned, wearing armor and on horseback. Bodies of wounded soldiers and horses fall to ground. Scene in gold frame.
