Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneels with joined hands raised, between God, nimbed, wearing triple crown tiara, holding cross-surmounted tripartite globe in right hand, and Christ, wearing crossed nimbus and crown, and holding cross-surmounted tripartite globe in left hand hand. Both are seated on thrones beneath canopies and both hold either side of crown above the Virgin's head, upon which is dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed (Trinity).
Of four angels, nimbed, one holds edge of the Virgin's garment, one holds portative organ, and two stand behind wall in background.
At top of scene, in starry sky, are two red angels, nimbed.
Margins decorated with floreate border, including strawberries, inhabited by moths, birds, half-figures of angels, and birds with female heads. In lower margin is man, wearing hat, holding leaves in each hand, flanked by half-figures of men, wearing hats, holding scrolls with pseudo-inscriptions.
