Christ: before Pilate -- Group of seven soldiers and men, the foremost wearing zoomorphic epaulettes, four hold spears, four wear helmets, one holds rope binding wrists of Christ, rays as nimbus, wearing hooded white garment, standing before Pilate, wearing headgear under crown (?), breastplate of armor, and zoomorphic knee-plates, seated on canopied throne, holding scepter in left hand and indicating Christ with extended right hand. In background, busts of two men, wear hats. Scene in room of paneled walls and coiffered ceiling. Framed text block of 15 lines is suspended from tree branch over path with arbor and foliage in foreground. Trees and foliage forming arch over scene; miniature within architectural frame.
