Roman de la Rose: Scene, Slander confessing to False Seeming and Scene, False Seeming cutting off Tongue of Slander -- Forced Abstinence, as Franciscan (?) nun, veiled, wearing rope girdle, is seated on bench behind False Seeming as Dominican nun (?), right hand to mouth of Slander, bleeding, kneeling with joined hands extended.
Scene against gold background, enclosed in pink and blue frame with gold corners.
Below miniature, champide M initial beginning text MALE BOUCHE TANTOST SA BESSE / SI SA GENOILLE ET SE (CON)FESSE.
