Christ: Entry into Jerusalem -- Christ, nimbed, with right hand raised in blessing, sits astride ass. Beside him walk nimbed Apostles, including Evangelist John. Before Him are palms strewn on the road and large group of people emerging in a line from distant gate of city of Jerusalem. One man in front lays his mantle on the road. Flanking the road are two palm trees, with a man in each throwing down palm fronds.
Text and miniature enclosed in classicizing architectural frame with putti and satyrs. IN lower margin is escutcheon with arms of the Holy Roman Emperor, and scroll scroll inscribed PLVS OVLTRE.
