Decorated initial D enclosing foliate ornament.
Amid foliate ornament in margins are three birds; man, wearing hat, holding human-faced shield in right hand and grasping foliage with left hand; half figure of man, wearing hat, emerging from flower; and hybrid man, wearing hat, with hooved hindquarters, holding foliage in both hands.
Ornament executed in grisaille and gold tones with color accents.
