Border composed of bands of foliate ornament inhabited by numerous grotesques, including hybrid men and women, some in pairs, and by hybrid animals. Among the hybrid men are soldier, wearing mail hood, and tonsured monk. Bands interrupted by quatrefoils and medallions with geometric decoration.
