God, nimbed, raising right hand in blessing, holding book with left hand, is seated on bench surrounded by red angels, some with joined hands. Initial S is in upper right corner. Text is antiphon from 1st Vespers on Trinity Sunday. Trinity: Mercy Seat -- God, crossed nimbus, seated on throne, holds with both hands cross-bar of crucifix to which Christ, crossed nimbus, eyes closed, head inclined, wearing loincloth, is affixed with three nails. Holy Ghost is not present. Border of rectilinear frame decorated with interlace and floreate ornament, enclosing text. At each corner is evangelist symbol, half-figure of angel, nimbed, holding book (Matthew); eagle, nimbed (John) with book in talons; lion, winged, holding book with front paws (Mark); and ox, nimbed, winged, holding book with front hooves (Luke). In left margin, on frame, prophet, nimbed, indicating upward with right hand, holding scroll with left hand. In right margin, on frame, prophet, nimbed, raising right hand, holding scroll with left hand. Text is collect from 1st Vespers on Trinity Sunday.
