Apostle, Peter: Scene, Chair at Rome -- Apostle Peter, wearing cross-surmounted, triple-crowned papal tiara and vestments fastened with morse, sits on canopied throne, raising right hand in blessing and with left hand holding key and cross-staff, flanked by angels holding lit tapered candles. Margin, right: Angel extends right hand to stem amid foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament, including daisies and violas. Text is from Feast of Apostles Peter and Paul (06.29).
