Miniature, vignette, left margin: Christ: Parable, Good Samaritan -- Good Samaritan, kneeling, from jug pouring oil onto wounded traveller, with right hand raised, laying supine on ground. Possibly acolyte and bishop, wearing miter, departing on path. Scene on path in hilly landscape with trees and with buildings in background. Miniature for text read after Twelfth Lesson on Thirteenth Sunday after Feast of Trinity. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two angels, gesturing, emerging from clouds (left).
