Initial I enclosing winged Evangelist Symbol of Luke (ox), with front hooves on blank scroll; against gold background at beginning of Ninth Lesson on the Fourteenth Sunday after Feast of Trinity. Initial O enclosing head of man, wearing hat, at beginning of Collect "Omnipotens et misericors Deus de cujus munere venit ut tibi a fidelibus ..." Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figure of man, gesturing, emerging from cloud, and possibly four helmeted soldiers, emerging from foliate buds (right); and busts of two men, amid foliage (lower).
