Miniature, vignette, left margin: Christ: Miracle of raising Widow’s Son -- In foreground, two men, one wearing cap, supporting bier in which is seated bust of Widow’s Son, with joined hands raised. In background, Christ, cross-nimbed, with right hand raised in blessing, accompanied by three apostles (one with only head visible). Scene in hilly landscape with trees and city buildings in distance. Miniature for Ninth Lesson on the Seventeenth Sunday after Feast of Trinity. Initial I enclosing winged Evangelist Symbol of Luke (ox), reclining on scroll with name inscribed LUCAS; against gold background. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberry, inhabited by busts of two men amid foliage (lower).
