Miniature:
Magi: Adoration -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, is seated holding nude Christ Child on her lap. Eldest Magus, kneels before them, with joined hands extended. The other two Magi, wearing hats, stand beside her, holding covered vessels with right hands, one indicating with left hand, rays emanating from top of frame.
Scene partially in shed with hole in roof; broken wall in background.
Margin, lower:
Animal, possibly monkey, emerging from bush, looks toward bird, head turned. Scene in landscape with stream, trees, rock, and hills in distance.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
