Psalm 027 (Vulg., 026) -- 1) In initial D decorated with geometric and foliate ornament, the crowned David kneels before a draped altar and raises his joined hands toward the Hand of God emerging from the cloudy arc of heaven.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bands decorated with foliage and interlace.
Upper margin inhabited by four birds, and a dog pursuing rabbit.
Left margin inhabited by a crane.
Lower margin inhabited by a hybrid man as musician playing a fantastic psaltery, a hybrid woman wearing a snood and dancing, a lion, and a nude man wearing a headband, armed with a human-faced shield and a spear.
