Beginning of Ecclesiastes.
Solomon: Scene, composing Ecclesiastes -- Solomon, crowned, holds book in left hand and raises right forefinger. At right are three men, wearing pointed hats. One extends hands and another raises left forefinger. Above them is half-figure of angel emerging from cloudy arc of heaven. In his right hand Angel holds book and in his left hand he swings censer. Scene within decorated initial U.
In left margin is hybrid man, wearing hat, and fantastic animal.
In lower margin head of man emerges from foliage.
