Christ: noli me tangere -- Mary Magdalen, nimbed, with arms crossed on her breast, kneels before Christ, with crossed nimbus, partially draped in mantle, with wounds in hands, feet, and side, holding cross-staff in left hand and raising right hand in blessing. Ointment jar on ground before Mary. Scene in garden enclosed by wattle wall, with distant hills, trees, and city of Jerusalem. Sun emanating rays above.
Margins with floreate and scroll ornament, inhabited in left margin by fantastic man, aiming bow and arrow at mouth of fantastic animal; and in lower margin by fantastic animal, wearing crown and holding crozier.
