Magi: Adoration -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated on wicker bench, holds nude, Christ Child, crossed nimbus, standing on her lap. He extends arms to cup held with both hands by eldest Magus, kneeling on one knee before them. Behind them stand Joseph the Carpenter, wearing hood, holding crutch with left hand; Magus, wearing crown on hat, indicating upward with right hand, holding covered jar with left hand; and black Magus, wearing crown on hat, looking toward second Magus, and holding covered container. Rays descend through hole in roof.
Scene in ruined shed, the opening of which creates frame for miniature. Lower portion of frame inscribed DEVS IN ADIVTORIVM MEVM INTENDE.
