Confessio Amantis: Scene, Alexander the Great with Pirate -- Alexander the Great, crowned, wearing cape and tunic lined with fur, stands, gesturing with left hand toward pirate, with bare legs and feet, raising right hand, and looking at Alexander. With his left hand, pirate indicates bundles and covered vessels on ground, beside which two other men stand.
