Virgin Mary: Death and Virgin Mary: Assumption -- Within initial G, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple, hands crossed on abdomen, reclines with head on pillow on bed draped with cloth decorated with flowers. Nine apostles, nimbed, are behind the bed, including Evangelist John; Peter, wearing triple crowned tiara, raising aspergil with right hand, holding book with left hand; two apostles holding books; one wearing hood. In foreground two apostles, nimbed, sit on elaborate tiled floor, one writing in book on lap, the other holding book. Candlestick is between them. Above, nude soul of Mary is in mandorla supported by two angels, nimbed.
Initial G composed of three fish, one with human face, and one duck (?).
Margins decorated with floreate ornament, including two vases containing flowers. In right margin, small nude youth, holding spear with right hand and shield with left hand, pierces head of snail with the spear. Dove flies above nude male youth aiming bow and arrow.
