Miniature, vignette, right margin: Christ: Parable, Marriage of King’s Son -- King, wearing crown over hat and fur-trimmed garment, with right hand extended toward servant. In background, confronted man and servant, one with hands raised. Scene in hilly landscape with trees and city buildings in distance. Initial I enclosing Evangelist Symbol of Matthew (angel), with both hands holding blank scroll; against gold background, at beginning of Ninth Lesson on the Twenty-third Sunday after Feast of Trinity. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberry, inhabited by half figure of man, reading from open book with pseudo-inscriptions, emerging from cloud (right).
