2) Judith: slaying Holofernes -- Judith, crowned, raises sword with right hand, and with left hand, touches crown worn by Holofernes, nude, reclining on draped bed, his head resting on pillow.
Scenes within initials A, decorated with foliate ornament and with foliate extenders inhabited by hybrid animal with bird body.
Margin:
Gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament terminating in foliate medallion enclosing.
Beginning of Judith, Prologue and Judith.
