Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, nimbed, holding with both hands scroll inscribed AUE GRACIA PLENA DOMINUS TECUM, kneels behind Virgin Mary, nimbed. She is kneeling at draped prie-dieu, raising right hand, resting left hand on open book on the prie-dieu. Scroll above her head is inscribed ECCE ANCILLA DOMINI FIAT MICHI SE(CUND)UM UERBUM TUUM (Luke 1:38). Vase of lilies is on floor between them. Dove of Holy Ghost is at Virgin Mary's nimbus amid rays descending from head of God, rays as cross nimbus, in arc of Heaven, upper left.
Background of dado below red wall decorated with gold scrollwork.
Margins decorated with border of floreate rinceaux, some emerging from ends of vertical bar in left margin.
