Beginning of Song of Solomon.
Solomon: Scene, addressing Christ-Logos -- Angel, nimbed, emerges from cloudy arc of heaven, with censer hanging from right hand and extending left hand toward Solomon, crowned, kneeling with joined hands raised, before draped altar upon which is chalice and wafer (host). At right, emerging from cloudy arc of heaven is half-figure of Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, bleeding from wounds in hands and side, raising right hand.
In center margin is goat standing on hind legs and man wearing turban-like headgear.
In right margin is angel playing double trumpets.
In lower margin are monkey and two birds.
