Christ: Pietà -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple, is seated, holding body of Christ, crossed nimbus, eyes shut, bleeding from wounds, wearing crown of thorns and short loincloth. They are flanked by Evangelist John, nimbed, holding cloth at head of Christ, and by Mary Magdalen, nimbed, hands crossed on breast standing next to ointment jar. Cross is in background; trees and buildings are in distance.
Upper and lower margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
