Christ: Deposition -- Body of Christ, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, affixed by feet to tau cross, is supported by Nicodemus, standing on ladder leaning against the cross. At base of cross kneels Joseph of Arimathea, holding pincers to feet of Christ. Virgin Mary, veiled, with joined hands, witnesses scene. Scene in initial G.
Below initial is inscribed SPK 1496.
Margin with floreate ornament, inhabited by Virgin Mary, veiled, with tears, and with hands joined in her sleeves.
