Virgin Mary, nimbed, is seated on throne, possibly with seat of two large birds. With her right arm she supports, on her right knee, Christ Child, cross-nimbed, nude, wearing beads or rosary around neck, grasping her mantle with right hand and resting left hand on her shoulder. She holds book with left hand, resting it on left knee. Figures are in landscape, with bushes, trees, mountains and, at left, horseman who approaches building.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament.
