Virgin Mary, rayed nimbus, crowned, holding swaddled Christ Child, crossed nimbus, possibly crowned, stands next to Anna, rayed nimbus, veiled with wimple, grasping mantle of Virgin Mary with right hand and holding book with left hand. Above them, emerging from arc of Heaven is bust of God, nimbed, wearing triple crowned papal tiara, raising right hand in blessing and holding cross surmounted globe in left hand.

Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by bird, possibly parrot.
