Christ: Nativity, Miracle, Withered Hand -- Salome, wearing cap, with hands severed, extends arms toward angel, nimbed, holding Salome's hands. To right, Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneels with hands crossed on her breast, before nude Christ Child, nimbed, laying on her mantle. Behind Virgin Mary stands Joseph and ox and ass. Scene inside barn with timber posts and beams.
Margins decorated with floreate ornament, with five scrolls inscribed 1) PAX IN TERRA; 2) DE BIEN EN MIEVLX; 3) VIUEZ EN PAIX; 4) ESPOIR DE AVOIR M[IEVL]X (sic); 5) EN TOVT BIEN NA QVE HOMME (sic).
