Miniature with four compartments:
1) Evangelist John, nimbed, holding quill (?) in right hand, sits with scroll with pseudo-inscription in his lap, beside eagle (Evangelist Symbol) and sea.
2) Evangelist Mark, nimbed, wearing hat, holding pen in right hand, sits and writes on sheet with pseudo-inscription on desk. Laying beside him is lion (Evangelist Symbol). Brocade cloth hangs behind him.
3) Evangelist Matthew, nimbed, seated on bench, possibly holding quill or pen in right hand, holds scroll in his lap. Beside him stands angel (Evangelist Symbol). Brocade cloth hangs behind him
4) Evangelist Luke, nimbed, wearing headdress or hat, possibly holding pen in left hand, sits on round chair at desk upon which is sheet with pseudo-inscription. Beside the desk sits ox (Evangelist Symbol). Brocade cloth hangs behind him.
Margins with floreate and vinescroll ornament, inhabited by bird and two fantastic animals.
