Apostle Thomas, nimbed, holding book with two clasps in draped right hand and spear in left hand, stands in landscape. In background are two pilgrims (?), with staves, on path leading to castle, in tower of which is man playing horn. To right is hill, criss-crossed with paths, with windmill on hilltop. Rays emanate from center of arch at top of miniature.
Margins with foliate and ivy-rinceaux ornament.
