Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, wearing dalmatic, hands crossed on breast, right hand holding blank scroll, kneels on one knee, looking up toward Virgin Mary, nimbed, right hand on book on lectern, raising left hand, looking left toward Gabriel. On raised platform or porch of building, Mary is seated on throne with curtain, below canopy or vault of building. Above left, God, crossed nimbus, extending right hand in blessing and holding globe with left hand, appears in cloud-edged arc of Heaven.
Margins decorated with border of gold foliate ornament on red, with barbed quatrefoil at each corner enclosing angel wearing diadem (crown), three angels swinging censers, one holding blank scroll.
