1) Virgin Mary: Visitation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, embraces Elizabeth, nimbed, veiled, with her left hand on the Virgin's abdomen. Both stand beside cushioned chair, with footstool or book on ground, between two curtains drawn to sides of arch in architectural setting.
2) Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, leaning against pillow, with right hand to head, sits on draped four-post bed. She extends her left hand toward Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, with head resting on raised right hand, seated on chair.In center background, Christ Child, cross-nimbed, head and body in cloth, lies in four-post bed in front of ass and ox (heads visible only). Scene with curtain drawn to side.
