Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, with crossed nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to tau cross with titulus inscribed INRI. He is flanked by the sun and moon, and by two theives, both wearing short loin cloths and bound to tau crosses. To left of the Christ stand Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, and Mary Magdalen, nimbed, with joined hands raised, and other nimbed figures. To right stand men and soldiers with spears.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament, inhabited by fool, wearing hood, holding bauble in right hand; and woman wearing hennin.
