Christ: Flight into Egypt -- Virgin Mary, with rays as nimbus, veiled, sits sideways on ass and holds in her lap swaddled Christ Child, with crossed rays as nimbus. Beside the ass walks Joseph the Carpenter, as young man, wearing hat, holding rod or staff over his left shoulder. In background is hill, with idol falling from top of column, and distant mountains.
Margins with compartments with flowers, including one inhabited by two flies and another inhabited by bird and fantastic animal; and compartments of vinescroll, including one inhabited by half-figure of wild man holding shield in left hand and raised club in right hand.
