Christ: Presentation -- Within temple, Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, stands before draped altar holding Christ Child, rayed cross as nimbus, partially nude. On opposite side of altar, Simeon, nimbed, extends both hands towards Him. Hem of Simeon's robes inscribed with pseudo-inscriptions. Two books are under altar. Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, holding basket of doves, stands beside Virgin Mary. Beside curtain, Franciscan friar, tonsured, wearing grey habit and stole inscribed with crosses, raises joined hands.
