Scene, Liturgical: Burial -- Deceased man, wearing loincloth, arms crossed, lies in open sarcophagus. Two figures in black mourn. In background, two priests chant before open book on cemetery cross. Beside them, two devils reach for personification of soul rising toward bust-length figure of Christ, cross-nimbed, showing wounds, in arc of heaven, flanked by two angels and two cherubim.
