Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, wearing beaded fillet, kneels with open hands before nude Christ Child, emanting rays, laying on ground beside staff. Joseph, nimbed, sits with head on right hand. In background is shed with ox and ass eating from manger, owl perched on rocks, trees, mountains, and sun, emanating rays.
Miniature enclosed in frame inscribed PUER NATUS EST NOBIS FILIUS DATUS EST NOBIS ANGELI CERNUNT IN TERIS QUONIAM REGEM ADORANT IN (sic).
Amid foliate ornament in margins are four angels, kneeling with joined hands raised toward miniature; and seven birds.
Miniature and ornament executed in grisaille and gold tones with color accents.
