Virgin Mary: Visitation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, embraces Elizabeth, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, outside walls of city. To left, two angels with joined hands raised witness scene.
In vignette in lower margin:
Christ: Baptism -- Christ, nimbed, nude, stands in River Jordan while John the Baptist, nimbed, wearing garment of skins, kneeling on riverbank, pours water over the head of Christ with bowl. On opposite riverbank stands angel, holding garments of Christ.
Miniature and margin enclosed by gold frame.
