God, crossed nimbus, wearing triple-crowned papal tiara and cope, raising right hand in blessing, extending left hand, stands in landscape. Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including viola, strawberry, campanula, and dianthus, and inhabited by bird and hybrid animal playing trumpet. Text is first lesson in first nocturn for Matins on Septuagesima Sunday.
