Beside him stands eagle (Evangelist Symbol), holding inkpot and stylus case in its beak. Scene on island with trees and cliff, with distant ships, city, and hills. Rays emanate from above.
Margins with ivy-rinceaux, vinescroll, and floreate ornament, with foliate baguettes framing miniature.
