Pentecost -- Below canopy, Virgin Mary, nimbed, with joined hands, kneels before lectern on which is open book. She is flanked by 13 Apostles, nimbed, kneeling, some with joined hands. Dove of Holy Ghost hovers above amid rays descending to Mary and apostles.
Scene in room with windows.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including strawberry, thistle and viola, and inhabited by butterfly, snail, and hybrid man wearing hat. In right margin, initials I and B bound together with knotted cord. In lower margin, defaced escutcheon.
