Evangelist Luke, nimbed, sits upon pillow on bench at desk, upon which is sheet of parchment with pseudo-inscription. He holds pen in right. At right is his symbol (ox) nimbed, winged, with scroll that reads SANCTUS LUCAS emerging from his mouth. Scene in vaulted room with two windows, on sill of one of which is pitcher.
Margins are decorated with floreate border, including strawberries, inhabited by bird and dog chasing rabbit.
