Adam and Eve: commanded by God -- Christ-Logos, rayed cross as nimbus, right hand raised, stands before nude Adam and Eve, hands joined. Branches of thistle plant beside them partially cover their genitals. Between figures are Tree of Knowledge with fruit and fountain with river flowing under and possibly two rivers visible behind it in landscape, suggesting four Rivers of Paradise. In background is landscape, including trees, rivers and hills.
